Sherpa is hands down the absolute best GMAT prep service in the game. They are literally miracle workers. The content that they've prepared: packets, test-taking strategy, application support, and general matriculation strategy are totally out of this world. The best thing about Sherpa, however, is how invested they are in you as a student. Nafeez has been in the game so long he knows what levers to pull to get you motivated, what you need to do to succeed, and when to tell you to abandon something. As much as the program is a series of classes, you really feel like you're on a one on one personalized journey every step of the way. From the day you open your textbook to the day you hit submit they have test materials, essay review, interview prep, and ask me anything type help to get you there. Everyone on their team is available damn near all the time. If you have a question pop up, go to a Sunday review session, schedule a 15min check-in, shoot them an email and get a response almost immediately. I'm at Duke's Fuqua School of Business with a full-tuition scholarship and Sherpa is a HUGE part of the reason I'm here.

I have never written a review for anything before, but my GMAT prep course with Sherpa was so amazing that I felt compelled to write this. First off, their course really covers everything you need to know before taking the GMAT and their study materials are incredibly thorough. But even with all of its amazing content, it was my instructor who really made the difference for me. I've often found that people who are brilliant are not the best teachers. With Nafeez you get the best of both worlds. He is incredibly intelligent but also made to teach. Not only does he keep the class fun and explain concepts incredibly well, but he really cares about every one of his students doing well. If you are willing to put in the work, he will be right there with you to help you meet your goals. Their course pushed me to work harder than I knew I was capable of and I ended up with a 710 and a 180 point increase. I certainly worked hard, but this score would not have been possible without their amazing guidance. I can't say enough good things about Sherpa Prep. I am so grateful to have learned from them!

If you're looking for a company committed to your success, look no further. As a former student, I can attest to the unrelenting and loyal devotion that this company shows its students. I took their GMAT prep course and find it so fitting that Sherpa Prep is named after the individuals who guide people from all walks of life to the top of the world's tallest mountain. To many, including myself, getting a good score on the GMAT seems just as daunting as climbing Everest. I'm here to tell you that if you are willing to face the challenge and put in the hard work, they will give you all the tools you need to climb the mountain. They will give you a map to the top and guide you the whole way. Nafeez, my instructor, is a jack of all trades. He instructs, motivates, inspires, mentors, and most importantly he acts as a voice of reason when the journey seems impossible. Nafeez and the Sherpa team are among the most selfless people I've ever encountered and they provide a level of instruction that is unmatched. If you're looking for a GMAT prep course, then look no further because Sherpa Prep is AMAZING. Their test prep services are incredible and the entire staff is extremely devoted to your success. I entered my GMAT course remembering very little math and have always dreaded standardized tests. It didn't matter. If you put in the work, Sherpa will help you conquer this test. I cannot say enough good things about Nafeez - he is incredibly brilliant and engaging, and truly cares about making sure that you succeed. He does 1-1 calls with students regularly to ensure that you're on track and is also hilarious - I always looked forward to class! In addition, Sherpa offers unlimited free office hours for additional assistance. These hours were extremely helpful and I'm so glad that I took advantage of them -- thank you Erin! Preparing for the test and putting together my business school apps was a long and grueling process, but Sherpa Prep provided me with the support system that I needed to be successful. I ended up getting accepted to 5 top business schools including one with a full-tuition scholarship! That ROI is off the charts!!!

5 stars isn't enough for Sherpa Prep. It is simply the best GMAT prep company out there. Sherpa Prep is run by caring, hard-working people and utilizes a unique, effective methodology that the competition can't come close to. Other reviewers have outlined Sherpa Prep's strong points - the structure, strategy, availability, price, etc., and I agree with all of the points and would also add small class sizes and cheap one-on-one tutoring as important strengths. But where Sherpa Prep stands out even more is that Sherpa teachers meet you where you are. They speed up or slow down to match the progress of the class as a whole, making sure that no one is left behind or bored. I can't emphasize enough the dedication and kindness of the Sherpa Prep instructors. They went out of their way a number of times to help me achieve my GMAT goals (eventually leading to me getting accepted to my dream school), offering me additional resources and meeting with me during off-hours to make sure I had the support I needed. The Sherpa Prep team goes above and beyond to provide their clients everything they need to succeed.

With b-school about to start, I feel compelled to reflect upon how I got here. Not only did I survive the GMAT and MBA application process, but I got into a great school on almost a full scholarship. I can say with 100% confidence that I could not have done this without the Sherpa Prep team. When I began, the MBA world seemed scary and unreachable. I hadn't taken math since high school, and had always struggled with standardized tests. A friend recommended I check out Sherpa. While their course is incredible, what sets them apart is the care and attention they give to students outside of class and even long after it ends. I struggled with the GMAT and was very close to quitting - I just didn't feel like I was cut out for it. But Nafeez was there to tell me I was wrong. To this day, I think I might've given up had it not been for him. I cannot recommend Sherpa more highly. They reject a one-size-fits-all approach and are intentional about meeting you where you are. They are willing to roll up their sleeves and work with you side by side - no matter how long it takes. I am proof that their commitment to their students' success is unmatched.
