After bombing my first GMAT I began looking for prep classes to help. I was recommended to Sherpa by a friend and signed up so that my course would finish 2 weeks before my GMAT. The quality of the classes exceeded my expectations. Not only will you learn the overview of what skills you should know, you will look at the questions in depth, and also look at ways to properly solve them and all while managing your time efficiently. My instructors Jay and Nafeez helped me look at questions from a critical view and learn to properly digest what the GMAT is looking for. You success is guaranteed because if you don't do well on the exam, you can even come back and take the courses again for free (but if you pay attention, I honestly doubt you will need to). To anybody about to take the GMAT, I strongly recommend Sherpa Prep.

I took the GMAT yesterday and got a 730!! I'm thrilled. The credit goes to you. Get in while you still can. I took the GMAT Prep course through Sherpa, and Jay was my instructor. From a sheer economics standpoint -- the value you will get for what you pay is indisputable. From a teaching standpoint -- Jay can not only teach the material in his sleep, but he makes a concerted effort to figure out each individual student's learning style and to custom-tailor the material accordingly. On top of teaching relevant material, Jay has a humorous delivery that helps keep you awake in spite of the lengthy hours you must spend learning. Finally, the instructors at Sherpa demonstrated a genuine interest in and desire for student success. I cannot recommend Sherpa highly enough.

I was able to take the test yesterday in Baltimore (don't ask) and I got a 730! I am so happy. Thank you so much for all of your help, support, extra time both before and after class, jokes, etc, etc. Jay was an awesome instructor and I couldn't have done it without him. And it's a good thing you taught us that Pi equals 22/7 because that definitely came in handy during the test... Thank you again for everything and enjoy the holidays/break!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Sherpa Prep. I took the GMAT test prep classes in Arlington with Martin and Jay. There were only three students total in my class and two instructors! On top of that, Martin and Jay have both been teaching GMAT for years, are extremely fluent in GMAT 'speak' and were extremely accommodating. When I couldn't make a session, they made it very easy for me to make it up at another location. In addition, they always answered my emails and phone calls promptly. Oftentimes I felt like I was getting one on one instructions. Most importantly, at Sherpa Prep, they don't just teach how to take a test, they teach you the CONTENT of the test with extremely thorough and unique instruction. I was shocked at the value of the course--what felt like personalized instruction, more classroom time than any of the other courses and about half the price of the other courses.

Thanks to your help I scored well on my GMAT and just got accepted into GWU's school of business! I didn't even think I could get in when I applied. I only did so for the purpose of having closure and not left wondering what if. Your class is worth every dollar of that $800. I just wanted you to know I scored a 730 (43 quant, 47 verbal). The first time I took the GMAT I scored a 560, so your course really helped me get there. I appreciate your efforts to meet outside of class, and your approach to dealing with the exam itself. Thanks again!

My reason for emailing is to let you know that I took the test this past weekend. I got a f%^$*@% 600! Can that be real? I was telling my wife beforehand that I would have been devastated to get anything below a 450, and pleased as could be to clear 500. As you can imagine, I'm feeling pretty damn good right about now. I couldn't have done it with out you. I truly appreciate all the time and energy you put into my preparation. I'm your ambassador moving forward.

I just wanted to thank you for all the help you gave me when I took your GMAT prep course. I never let you know how that turned out. I actually scored in the 94th percentile, and I am confident that I would not have been able to do this without the framework you provided for me for the GMAT. The level of [reasonable] difficulty and course work that you required for your class forced me to take an honest look at what I need to do to be successful. If you ever want to use me as "that guy" who was able to turn things around because of your course. I'll work for a very cheap fee, aka nothing.

The class is absolutely the best out there. My instructor was Jay. He was extremely sharp but yet very down to earth and easy going. On top of that you can actually tell he likes teaching and is very knowledgeable about the entire MBA application process. I have highly recommended the program. It costs 1/3 of the price of the Kaplan one, but in reality it is much better. The only thing you are not getting is a fancy office or a lot of marketing.

I feel like I just got beaten up and left for dead. I scored 48 Quantitative, 85th percentile, and 44 verbal, 97th percentile, for a scaled score of 740, 97th percentile. That is a hard test. After I finished the math I was not sure I had much left in me. Thank you again for all of your help. The class was tremendously helpful and I really appreciate what you do and the affordable price at which you do it. Good news! I got into John Hopkins Carey and UNC Kenan-Flagler! I'm pretty set on going to UNC, they have an awesome program in sustainable enterprise (renewable energy, microfinance ect) which is my interest. I'm extremely excited! Thanks again for all you support with the GMAT prep, and really encouraging me! I've recommended your course to a few other friends of mine considering MBA schools, cause it's simply the best.

I scored a 680 on the GMAT Saturday. Quantitative - 44, Verbal - 40. I was able to match my highest Math score from the practice tests and raise my highest verbal score 5 points. I probably took the test earlier than I should have, but I am pretty sure a 680 will put me in the thick of it for Georgetown and Smith. Thank you for all your help. I thought your class was excellent and I will definitely recommend it to anyone else considering taking the GMAT!

Just wanted to report back that I've completed the exam and got a 710! 45 Quant, 41 Verbal. I'm very pleased with that result – I almost screamed when the score popped up in the testing room! Thanks for all your prodding and support. I certainly wouldn't have done this well without your class. Any of your favorite bars sell gift cards?Figure that might be more easily portable than that case of beer I was talking about on Saturday...
